Jewel In The Crown. 3.30pm.

This Indian restaurant does not open until the afternoon. It is easy to find – on the opposite side of Bolton Street to the Leisure Centre and a little way down. Very helpful staff will advise you if you have never tried “An Indian” before. To tempt us there is a 20% discount if you pay cash. Numbers needed. Please put your name on the sheet.

Monday 12th October.

Did you know there is an Animal Rescue Centre close to Tottington. Our speaker is Emily who helps at Pets In Need. She will tell us about the charity, what they do, and the animals it supports.

Wednesday 21st October.

Robin Hood, Tottington.

Lunch time visit to this popular venue with their offer of a seniors menu at very low prices. Numbers will be needed at October meeting.

Monday 9th November.

St John’s Church Hall. 2pm.

A fun day playing ‘hoy bingo’. Those who have played before will know you have to cross off the playing cards on your sheet.

This year our Christmas Party will be at St John’s Church Hall. Outside caterers booked. We have been fortunate to receive a grant from Asda to help cover the costs on the understanding that it is part of our regular meetings. (Although timing will be extended). Ideas welcomed on how to make this a day to be remembered.

You will asked for a £5 contribution to the Christmas Party, payable at the October Meeting. No ‘outside’ guests.
